The First Term Enlisted Course’s Mission is to transition first-duty station airmen/guardians from Technical School to the operational Air Force/Space Force while maintaining the highest level of standards and discipline. Airmen and Guardians must not have any appointments during FTEC including in-processing, vehicle purchasing/registration, housing, PT test, or medical. No exceptions! Supervisors are responsible for ensuring Airmen are on time for FTEC. Supervisors must also ensure Airmen are well groomed IAW AFI36-2903. Also, all shaving waivers must be current and available printed or a picture of it on the first day of class. The UOD for DOTs 1-3 will be the Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP). The UOD for DOT 4 will be the blue service uniform with all accouterments. If a First Term Airman or Guardian has been on station for more than 60 days before completing FTEC, please have him/her turn in a commander-signed copy of the 60-Day Attendance Memo on the first day of class or via email to the FTEC Team. Mark your calendar with the date/time of this event. If you cannot make the event, please let us know so we can remove your name and select a standby individual to go in your place.
